A large living room is established to the east, organizing a living room, a dining room and an office around a fireplace. A large curtain allows the office to be transformed into a guest room. On the other side of the structural line, in the centre, the wet rooms - shower room and toilet - are grouped around a core, which also contains the technical equipment (new boiler and ventilation). On either side are the bedroom and the kitchen. Sliding doors allow movement around the core. These rooms open onto the rear façade, which gives access to a balcony and offers views to the west as far as the Heysel plateau.
The load-bearing structures are exposed and left unfinished, while the existing parquet flooring and the delicate granite pieces under the radiators are retained. From the bedroom, an interior occulus brings in light from the east and adds to the multiplication of cross-connections. The integrated furniture (library, office, dressing room, kitchen) is inserted at the ends of the rooms and emphasizes the dimensions of the large concrete beams.
